A 38-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman were selling counterfeit perfumes, glasses and watches. The couple were arrested on Monday afternoon (27) in the Bom Pastor neighborhood.

The police caught up with the couple after receiving a tip-off that they were selling counterfeit products as originals. Based on the information in the complaint, the military searched and found the couple leaving a shopping center in a black car.
According to the police, they found in the car and in the hotel room where they were staying various perfumes, glasses, watches, as well as R$9,600 in banknotes, 120 euros and 20 dollars.
According to the police, the man admitted that the products were replicas intended for resale. He and his partner were then taken to the Civil Police station.
The vehicle was removed to a Detran-accredited yard due to the driver's lack of a license.
