Uma fábrica de cerveja falsificada foi fechada pela Polícia Civil do Distrito Federal (PCDF) na última 5ª feira (30).
A distribuidora é investigada suspeita de adulterar mais de 5,2 mil latas da bebida e comercializar na capital federal.
Segundo a polícia, a empresa removia a data de validade original dos recipientes.
Na sequência, trocava o conteúdo de garrafas vendidas a preços mais altos pelo líquido de marcas menos famosas.
Prisão
O gerente do estabelecimento foi preso em flagrante. Ele será investigado por manter em depósito produtos vencidos e vender mercadoria em condições impróprias ao consumo.
Localizada às margens da DF-220, a fábrica contava com 15 funcionários, que também foram levados para a Delegacia de Brazlândia.
Mudança de ramo
A polícia descobriu que o local estava operando com a rotulagem de garrafas de água mineral.
Porém, nos últimos meses começou a adulterar as latas de cerveja vencida, com apagamento da data de validade e posterior revenda da bebida.
Esse tipo de crime é passível de pena de 2 a 5 anos de prisão.
Police shut down counterfeit beer factory
A factory of counterfeit beer was closed by the Civil Police of the Federal District (PCDF) last Thursday (30).

The police found out that the place was operating with the labelling of mineral water bottles.
However, in the last few months it started to adulterate the cans of beer that had expired, erasing the expiry date and then reselling the drink.
This type of crime is punishable by 2 to 5 years in prison.
