The World Intellectual Property Organization has established April 26th as World Intellectual Property Day, this year the organization has chosen the theme “Intellectual Property and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): How to build our common future with innovation and creativity”.
This year's theme features the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the 17 goals defined by the UN as pillars of the global action plan in pursuit of a more prosperous, peaceful and fair future for all.
In the gallery below, we address the correlation between IP and the SDGs and highlight some key points. We take this opportunity to recommend the reading of the material produced by WIPO available on the www.ip-sdgs.wipo.int portal, which was the source of this material and covers the subject extensively.
