Uma carga com 900 peças de roupas falsificadas de marcas famosas foi apreendida na tarde de sábado (24), em um ônibus na BR-242, trecho da cidade de Seabra, na Chapada Diamantina. As informações são da Polícia Rodoviária Federal (PRF).
Segundo a PRF, os policiais deram ordem de parada a um ônibus que fazia o itinerário São Paulo-Irecê. Inicialmente, foram solicitados os documentos do veículo e do condutor. De acordo com a PRF, ao ser perguntado sobre o material transportado, o motorista do ônibus relatou que carregava algumas encomendas no bagageiro.
A equipe resolveu verificar o compartimento de carga, quando se deparou com caixas de mercadorias. As peças de roupa estavam estampadas com marcas famosas e apresentavam sinais claros de falsificação. Além disso, o material estava documentação fiscal.
Ainda segundo a PRF, o condutor do ônibus, um homem de 48 anos, declarou que não tinha conhecimento a respeito da "qualidade" do material que estava transportando. Ele informou ainda que a carga foi embarcada na cidade de Caetité, no sudoeste da Bahia.
Os responsáveis pelos produtos falsificados foram identificados. A ocorrência foi encaminhada para a Polícia Civil de Seabra, pelos crimes de ordem tributária e de propriedade industrial. Uma equipe da Secretaria Estadual da Fazenda (SEFAZ/BA) foi acionada para realizar os procedimentos administrativos.

Also according to the PRF, the bus driver, a 48-year-old man, declared that he had no knowledge of the "quality" of the material he was transporting. He also informed that the cargo was shipped in the city of Caetité, in southwestern Bahia.
Those responsible for the counterfeit products have been identified. The occurrence was referred to the Civil Police of Seabra, for tax and industrial property crimes. A team from the State Secretariat of Finance (SEFAZ/BA) was called in to carry out the administrative procedures.
