Alcoholic beverages from Argentina seized in Roque Gonzales

Alcoholic beverages from Argentina were seized on this Monday (22), in Roque Gonzales. According to the Military Police, in the action carried out on ERS 168, the products were being transported in a pickup truck occupied by three people.

When questioned about the origin, according to the 14th BPM, they claimed that they bought the drinks in the neighbouring country and that they were not aware that they were over the allowed quota. Seized were 17 bottles of champagne (750ml), four bottles of campari (750ml), 164 bottles of wine (750ml) and 48 cans of beer (473ml).

All the products were catalogued and seized and will be delivered to the Federal Revenue Service.
