Goods valued at R$ 18,000 were being transported as a package on a bus.

Early Thursday morning (the 16th), the Highway Patrol seized a shipment of foreign goods lacking tax documentation during a traffic inspection and operation to combat cross-border crime on Highway MS-134 in Nova Andradina.
The stop occurred at km 149 of the highway, when officers from the Nova Andradina Operational Base inspected a bus traveling through the region. In the luggage compartment, they found nine packages containing foreign-made eyeglasses, which were being transported as shipped parcels.
During the inspection, no one responsible for the cargo was found inside the vehicle.
