On Tuesday morning (17), the Federal Revenue Service seized 117 raffia bags containing counterfeit shirts of national and international teams with registered trademarks in Brazil. The seizures took place during "Operation Shirt 10", which focuses on combating piracy.

During the operation, two commercial establishments were inspected, previously selected on the basis of risk analysis work by the Federal Revenue Service and complaints forwarded by law firms representing the brands affected by the criminal practice.

The operation involved the participation of ten Federal Revenue officials, eight police officers from the Ceará Civil Police's Coordination of Special Operations and Resources (CORE-PCCE), as well as lawyers representing the brands involved, who accompanied the investigations.

The operation had the logistical support of trucks to transport the seized packages.
