Man arrested on charge of producing illegal alcoholic beverages in Campo Limpo Paulista

A man was arrested on Saturday afternoon (13) on suspicion of illegally manufacturing alcoholic beverages in Campo Limpo Paulista (SP). The incident was reported by the Municipal Civil Guard (GCM) Municipal Patrol Team (Romu) in the Botujuru neighborhood.

According to the GCM, while patrolling Alvorada Street, officers spotted two individuals who, according to the institution, were acting suspiciously. When they noticed the patrol car approaching, both became nervous and fled. One of them entered a wooded area behind a residence.

The officers contacted the resident of the property, who authorized the team to enter. Inside the house, several boxes containing bottles of alcoholic beverages were found, as well as essences, dyes, and gallons, raising suspicions of illegal production.
