A man was arrested on Thursday afternoon (10) with an illegal shipment of contraband goods in the Sacramento neighborhood of Capim Grosso.
According to the Military Police, officers from the 91st CIPM were conducting Operation Quatro Contornos when they spotted the driver of a pickup truck making a sharp turn at an unmarked intersection.
Faced with this situation, the officers stopped the driver. During the stop, the officers found that the suspect was transporting various products of dubious origin. The shipment included cigarettes from Paraguay, medicinal products, cigarette paper, tobacco, and cosmetics. The items lacked invoices to prove the legality and origin of the goods.
