Smuggling bus: Revenue Service and Federal Highway Police seize R$ 830,000 in goods in Ubiratã

During the inspection, several packages containing electronics, toys, clothing, wine, and other items were found, totaling approximately R$ 830,000 in products.
On Wednesday afternoon (9), the Federal Revenue Service, with teams from Foz do Iguaçu and Cascavel, in partnership with the Federal Highway Police (PRF) of Ubiratã, seized three tourist buses carrying illegal goods bound for the state of São Paulo. The operation took place at the PRF station in Ubiratã and was supported by the Federal Revenue Service helicopter (CEOAR).
During the inspection, several packages containing electronics, toys, clothing, wine, and other items were found, totaling approximately R$ 830,000 in products. All the material, together with the seized vehicles, was sent to the Federal Revenue Service headquarters in Cascavel, where the appropriate legal procedures will be carried out.
The Federal Revenue Service emphasized its commitment to combating trafficking, smuggling, and embezzlement, reinforcing the importance of these actions for national security and the fulfillment of its institutional mission.
