The Federal Revenue Service seized 97 bales of counterfeit team jerseys, caps, and sneakers during an inspection that took place this Monday (21) at a retail establishment in the Pintolândia neighborhood, in the western part of Boa Vista.
According to the Federal Revenue, the operation aimed to combat the smuggling and sale of counterfeit goods in the capital. The seized sporting goods will be subject to the administrative procedures provided for by law.
Recap of the Seizure of 300 Perfumes
The Federal Revenue Service seized 21 boxes of imported perfumes without invoices during a raid on two stores on September 18 in Boa Vista. In total, at least 300 bottles were seized.
Most of the perfumes were from the Arab world. Sixteen boxes of perfumes were seized at a store in the Asa Branca neighborhood, in the western part of the city, and another five at a kiosk located in the Cauamé neighborhood shopping mall, in the eastern part of the city. Each box contains an average of 15 bottles of perfume.
