National Day to Combat Piracy and Biopiracy

The National Day to Combat Piracy and Biopiracy takes place on December 3rd. The date was established in 2005 and aims to raise public awareness of the harm caused by these criminal practices. 

On this date we reinforce the importance of the continuous work to combat this crime, which harms intellectual property rights, biodiversity, causes the country various economic losses and puts the health and safety of consumers at risk.
